When Buying a New Car Can Make Sense – New vs Used Car Guide

RoRo or Roll on Roll off ship is a special type of vessel which is used for the transportation of automobile vehicles. Also known as car carriers, these vessels have special inclines (ramps) constructed so as to make the loading and the unlading of vehicles and cargo easier and more convenient. This is in contrast to lift-on/lift-off (LoLo) vessels, which use a crane to load and unload cargo.

Currently, the largest are Höegh Autoliners, six Horizon class vessels with capacity of 8,500 Toyota Corolla’s each.
